I have a new goal !

So I troll digg.com once in a while, and lately I’ve also started working out 5 days a week. The last time I did this it took about 6 months to sculpt and have some decently noticeable results. Well today I think I have a new goal.

Whoo Day 30!

So, I thought I would have something long and inspirational to write today. Not so much… A few lessons learned maybe. These simple morning workouts work! The key is to not do too much, you just want to wake the body up. So don’t go overboard. I started with 10 and 10 and slowly moved up throughout the month. This was a comfortable step to add to the morning routine which did not require too much thought or effort and I got the max benefit from.

Another lesson learned is the fact that around Day 9 you will want to stop so watch yourself. There are times when your body will rebel and you will question your motives. Remind yourself that without this workout your day will be way longer and way less energetic. There have been days where I had barely slept, but I was still awake and productive at work and so on because I did my short routine.

There will be times where you will get overly ambitious and want to do more. Don’t! If you want a longer and better workout do it in the afternoon. Keep your morning routine short. If you start working out in the afternoons, remember to abide by the same rule… start off slowly and build up to more. Also, get a gym buddy. You will push each other to do more and more. Don’t ever suggest that you skip a workout to your buddy as you will be doing a great disservice to them as well.

Thats all for now, so without any further delay ….

Day 27..

Nearing the end… Wow. It’s been a fun ride, I gotta tell ya. Days 7,8 and 9 were especially interesting since I totally didn’t feel like working out those days. Once I was over that hump things were rather smooth. If I was to do one thing different I wouldn’t have upped the count as much. When you just wake up and are still sleepy it’s kind of a pain to want to do extra anything. Anyways…
